Because you weren't used to it. I'm sure if you wore it more often you wouldn't even notice. But as I said, I've never worn it so I wouldn't know.
We actually did talk about this once--Jotaro, Giorno, and myself. It was just after Holly got here, we were asking Giorno how to cover up my scars if we needed to.
...It all sounded like a lot of trouble so I just went back to wearing sunglasses for a while.
