I actually just had this discussion with someone else recently--our cursing isn't quite as colorful as that of other languages. Simply being coarse and impolite in phrasing is an insult in and of itself.
honestly i bet i will still rudeness aside i want to learn more japanese not the language itself italian takes priority but still i ought to know SOMETHING
If you want to tell someone 'stop being stupid', that's ふざけるな, fuzakeru na. 'Drop dead' is くたばれ, kutabare. やかましい, yakamashii is basically 'shut up, you're noisy'--that's one of the first things I ever overheard Jotaro saying, so you know it'll be a coarse and unrefined way of talking.
[He mouths the words, aware even as he does that he's butchering the pronunciation. It's simply the nature of their two languages; words in Japanese are pronounced so much differently than in French. Still, he memorizes those words, because he likes to learn things about his friend.]
were you that talky your first fight?
what about something fond like "fuck off" but youd say to your friends is there a way to say that fondly there is in italian
Kind of--we said a lot of things, but he was talking to someone else when he said that, I was just kind of watching him. I talk a lot when I fight in general, it's a distraction and stalling tactic.
As for that...I don't really think we have those. Most of what I can think of is just outright insults with no friendly connotation to them.
[Interesting, vaguely, and maybe someday they'll talk about it. Polnareff knows there's a difference between himself under mind-control and himself normally, and he's willing to bet the same is true for Kakyoin.]
fair enough but if i say it to you you have to promise to take it friendly
