CHARACTER
Name: Noriaki Kakyoin
Canon: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Age: 17
Timeline: Episode 46: 'Dio's World, Part 2'
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A
Personality: Noriaki Kakyoin is a prideful individual, who prior to his introduction allowed himself to fall under Dio's control through a paralyzing fear of Dio himself. In his early life, Kakyoin became convinced that those who couldn't see Hierophant Green--an extension of his own self--couldn't possibly understand him. As only other Stand users can see Stands, this mindset resulted in a very isolated person with a deep sense of loneliness. Dio, being highly charismatic, manipulated Kakyoin's fear and desire for a friend that could see his Stand in order to take direct control of his mind; a moment of weakness Kakyoin is never fully able to forgive himself for.
Once released from the vampire's control, Kakyoin becomes a genuinely repentant individual who joins the trip to Egypt to make up for having been an enemy in the first place. Along the way, he becomes thoroughly devoted to the group--who he later acknowledges as having become his first and only friends. He supports those he cares about without question both in and out of battle, primarily acting in a backup role to the short-range fighters in combat as well as serving as a valuable strategist and ally. Overall, he is a reserved but confident and courageous person, with an ability to stay calm and logical in most life-threatening and dire situations. On multiple occasions Kakyoin ends up backed into a corner; while some he manages to overcome, on occasions such as playing a game with his soul at stake against D'arby, he falters and loses due to his own fear and uncertainty. Because of this, which he sees as a vital flaw and deep personal failing, he holds a generally low opinion of himself despite his outward confidence.
But after the group reaches Egypt and Kakyoin returns from being temporarily sidelined, he decides to see the fight against Dio and his subordinates through to the end; and in doing so regains the pride he believes to have lost when he gave in to Dio's mind control. He resolves never to lose or to give in to his fear again--detesting the perceived weakness he had when the entire ordeal began. As a result he is the first to openly confront Dio, intending to both force the vampire to show his Stand's ability and to defeat Kakyoin's own weaker self which gave in to fear when last they met. Although he loses the resulting fight and his life in the process, Kakyoin's last action is to communicate that he knows Dio can stop time: thinking of his friends and determined not to give up, helping them defeat their common adversary even with his last breath.

Stardust Crusaders episode summaries
Abilities:
Independent of his Stand, Kakyoin himself is an ordinary human teenager. His own abilities, therefore, are limited to an impressive artistic ability and wider than average knowledge of largely useless trivia--for example, he seems to know a considerable amount about the general customs of everywhere the main group travels.
Hierophant Green, on the other hand, is a Stand (supernatural projection of energy which is part of Kakyoin himself) which specializes in stealth as well as mid- to long-range distance fighting. The maximum distance Hierophant can travel from Kakyoin is approximately 50 meters/164 feet. As it is an extension of Kakyoin's consciousness and self in a sense, any damage inflicted upon Hierophant is reflected upon Kakyoin himself; if it is punched in the face, its user will also feel said impact. Its abilities include:
Emerald Splash
The most powerful direct attack Hierophant and Kakyoin possess, it involves manifesting a pale green fluid between Hierophant's hands, from which is produced a number of small emeralds shot forward in a scattered manner similar to a shotgun blast.
Barrier/Range
Unlike a majority of Stands, Hierophant Green's physical body is not its only form. It can shift into a long series of thin coils, which can then be used to attack physically at a longer distance than Emerald Splash alone, attach itself to others like a lead, or form a net with a 20-meter range to track an enemy's movements. Anything detected by Hierophant's coils is essentially transmitted back to Kakyoin, as he and his Stand are effectively the same consciousness.
Possession
By uncoiling itself, Hierophant can assume control of another person and effectively render them as Kakyoin's puppet mostly for the purposes of using them as a human shield against an enemy. He uses this ability once (while under Dio's control) and never again save for stopping an enemy Stand's movements momentarily, presumably because it's a really screwed up thing to do.

Prose Log Sample:
He really hated that clock tower.
From where Kakyoin stood--perched precariously atop the cathedral with Hierophant's silver-green tendrils extending in every direction--he could see it clearly. It felt as though he could even hear it ticking from here, distracting him from his work trying to commit the city's layout to memory piece by piece through his Stand.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Or maybe it was the rhythm of his own heart, still beating despite the impossibility of it. Without any doubt, he was dead and had the scar to prove it. He'd felt his own heart slow to a stop, and yet now he was alive and breathing. Whatever this city he was trying to understand was, it had managed to keep him alive. Or bring me back, he thought with a faint shudder. The ribbonlike extensions retreated, one wrapped around its user's arm as a line to slow his fall as he jumped from the cathedral's highest point to the ground.
"I don't know, Hierophant." he said under his breath, the thin coil changing to a humanoid figure. "This can't possibly be part of Dio's Stand--even if it is called 'The World', creating a world is-..." Possible, Kakyoin knew that much. But the only other Stand he had seen do anything similar had only worked while its victims slept, and there was no doubt he was much more than just asleep.
"It can't be that." he confirmed to himself. The possibility was incredibly remote, and so terrifying that he refused to dwell on such a small percentage. But if it wasn't an effect of The World, that left no answers as to what this city truly was. The obvious answer of 'the afterlife' was too absurd to consider, so Kakyoin found himself at a loss. Adjusting the black sunglasses he wore, the student merely shook his head.
"Let's go," he said to the projection that was effectively only himself, and Hierophant Green dissolved into thin air as his user started walking down the city streets. The only route left was to be patient; remain on guard and wait for an opportunity to learn more presented itself.
...And, he thought to himself, determine if Jotaro and the others could possibly be nearby. It was unlikely, but Kakyoin suspected 'unlikely' held very little bearing on things like that here.
