[In the middle of the morning one day in December, Kakyoin will receive a rather odd text from Fugo.]
Are you still home.
[What's odd about is that Fugo is... almost never home this time of day. He's always gone in the morning to open up the music shop and then he's gone all day, aggressively keeping himself busy with any number of things.]

Anyway I guess I was exhausted enough that even the usual cacophony didn't wake me up so I was sleeping until about 10 minutes ago and I wasn't thinking very clearly it's only been four? five? hours kakyoin I am so tired I just want a cup of coffee so I feel less like I am slowly dying

[And, as ... described? Ranted? Fugo can be found in one of his bedroom doors, the one facing the main hall, slumped down to the floor. He's a sullen, exhausted lump of a teenager, stuck under a cheerful sprig of mistletoe helpfully provided and kept fresh by Gold Experience.]

[ Guess who’s getting a gift this Christmas! You, for making sure Tonika didn't run off and feed herself to the wargs. ]
I hate that I'm honestly not surprised to hear that this is the second time the city has fucked around with its inhabitant's ages.
Ah, I see. You didn't change the way your name was written, just the way it was read. Did the meaning of it change too?
I can understand that. If I could ... well. No, that's not the right way to say it. I hate my name, but I won't change it. I refuse to give it up.
