I've been having a shit time sleeping for the past few days and look I know it's bad for my internal circadian rhythm to sleep during the day but

I started dozing off around 7 AM and I sort of gave up on trying to stay awake because I was so tired and honestly I thought I would wake up when everyone else did that's a reasonable assumption

because JP is SO LOUD in the morning when I accidentally sleep in and he stomps around like a fucking elephant and sings these awful earworms in the shower and it makes me seriously want to strangle him!!

Anyway I guess I was exhausted enough that even the usual cacophony didn't wake me up so I was sleeping until about 10 minutes ago and I wasn't thinking very clearly it's only been four? five? hours kakyoin I am so tired I just want a cup of coffee so I feel less like I am slowly dying

I would like to preface this that if you'd rather not explain, you don't have to. And that if you have any questions for me... well, I'd at least be willing to listen to them.

Why do you go by "Kakyoin Noriaki" rather than "Kakyoin Tenmei"?

It's fine. This is the second time something like that's happened to me in this city, so I don't mind explaining it.

My name is written 典明--it can be read as 'Tenmei' or 'Noriaki'. The former is the name my parents gave me, and I changed it when I was a little older than that for a few different reasons.

I don't particularly care for my real name all that much, that's the simplest way to explain it.

Ah, I see. You didn't change the way your name was written, just the way it was read. Did the meaning of it change too?

I can understand that. If I could ... well. No, that's not the right way to say it. I hate my name, but I won't change it. I refuse to give it up.

No, the meaning is still the same. It's written with the kanji for 'scripture' and 'bright' regardless. I always thought that the meaning itself was fitting, considering Hierophant.
