A single attack isn't much more than a shotgun in terms of power--Jotaro's more of a physical fighter than I am. But it's still something I'm pretty content to call my own, regardless.
[She leans in a little closer, squinting at the damage. In a way, what she'd said was a lie -- the end result was pretty familiar. Destruction by a volley of "bullets"? Yeah. She'd seen that way too many times in her life. But it didn't feel the same as all those ghosts that had been gunned down as kids, it was...something else.]
Besides, like you said, this seems way more versatile. [Finally she floats back on over to Kakyoin, not a hint of her reminiscing to be seen.] You said something about traps before, right? With this thing you don't even have to hit them, just drag your shots to trick some dude into falling into a new kind of danger. It's like the battlefield's a whole new playground.
[At the slightest hand gesture, Hierophant split apart into a dozen individual coils that reached out in every direction like an erratically spun glowing spiderweb.]
I can see everything he does; not perfectly, but well enough to have a sense of major changes within my range. I can track an enemy's movements easily, for example.
[She follows a few of the coils with her eyes before raising herself higher into the air so she can get a better idea of the big picture. When she looks down to him, her hands are on her hips.]
...So go ahead and explain to me what part of this makes him average? Come on, man, this is some sick tech you've got going on. My parents would have killed to have someone like you with them for all their missions and stuff.
[Izabel returns to them, eyebrow raised like she's unimpressed with his argument. Because she is.]
Dude, they're parts of you guys. Of course they're going to be different. Everyone's got their own strengths. [She reaches her arm out again towards Hierophant to invite him back over as her eyes soften again.] I think he's plenty special.
[Realizing that was a terrible explanation, Kakyoin continued.]
This city's a strange exception to the way my world works. Back where we're from, the only people that can see Stands are people who have one themselves. I was just wondering if you had any problem like that.
[The fact that he refers to it as a problem is a little telling, and she knows if it was like that for her, life would be way more lonely. She's...not sure which angle to tackle that from, though.]

There's a difference between having an innate understanding of something like a Stand and actually having someone that has its own will and holds a conversation. It's...talking to oneself versus having an actual friend.
When I was still a kid I used to wish Hierophant would actually speak, but I got used to interpreting him as part of myself. Honestly, I'm just a little bit jealous of Mista in that respect.
