Clock tower but I've been there all night [It just...became night, Izabel...] so I could use a change in scenery.

[even with a nasty case of amnesia, kakyoin quickly decided that did not sound appealing for some reason. go figure.]

Yeah, somewhere else sounds better. How about I meet you near the library?

[ughhh the creepy ghosts were in there. Well, maybe they weren't around there and it would be fine. She can make this sacrifice for Stand time.]

I'll start heading that way now!

I'll be there in just a few minutes.

[Sure enough Kakyoin didn't take long at all to get there; traveling by rooftops tended to make a lot of things much faster.]

[Floating was considerably faster than anything with legs had been, but she's still a couple of minutes behind. Izabel gives the building a wary inspection and then, deciding it was fine, approaches Kakyoin with her usual bright smile.]

Hey! Sorry to keep you waiting. And to, like, call you out at night with that asshole cat creeping around, but it's just been following people far as I can tell.

[...it may have said a lot about Kakyoin that he didn't even really blink at the fact that Izabel was missing just about everything below the waist. A guy with visible scars on his face was not really one to talk.]

...hm. That's probably not important right now. [Says someone who suspects it's probably super important.] I wasn't waiting long at all.

[She's grateful, but the fact that all these fellow teens don't bat an eye at visible guts is more than a little disturbing. Poor guys.]

Cool. [YEAH let's minimize this issue like WINNERS.] Well, I'm ready whenever you are!

Would you mind holding out your hand? I just want to figure out how intangible you are so I can determine how to approach this.

[i'm pretty sure one is either intangible or not, kakyoin.]

[She obliges, offering it out. Looks pretty solid for the time being, but any attempt to touch her will cause it to fade to a near-invisible state.

She could also cheat and offer him the solution that worked for Gold Experience and Sex Pistols, but... Let's see how long it takes for Kakyoin to figure this out.]

[He carefully reached out with one hand, looking thoughtful as Izabel's disappeared in response. It seemed like she worked similarly to a Stand herself in that respect, but if that was the case this would be easy. It was just a matter of fine-tuning Hierophant to match that specific frequency, in a sense.]

...This doesn't seem too difficult at all. Let's see what I can come up with.

[The quiet Stand manifested behind him, fading through various levels of transparency before settling somewhere around 'translucent'. He reached past Kakyoin's shoulder and held out a hand, his user lookinguncertain but definitely focused.]

[Izabel's grin probably gives it away before she makes contact, but she can't help it. Seems Giorno was right about this guy. She takes up Hierophant's hand with both of hers without hesitation, grip tight but not painfully so.]

Perfect. You guys did perfect.

[It was a much different sensation than the other two Stands, but she doesn't seem to mind. In fact, that's almost better. While she was nowhere near tired of that feeling after so long with nothing, variety was the spice of afterlife as well.]

That's flattering of you to say, really. [And she got a friendly handshake for her trouble.] This is definitely something I haven't done before, so I'm glad it worked.

[Yeah, she's not about to let go unless someone makes her.]

Giorno said you'd figure it out fast. I'm learning to never doubt him. [And believing in him means believing in Kakyoin because he believed in Kakyoin, look at all this belief.] You and Hierophant really are naturals at this kinda thing, huh?

Giovanna's far too kind, really. [Kakyoin waved a hand dismissively, while Hierophant seemed perfectly okay with the apparent handholding that was now going on.]

But I guess out of all of us, I have had my Stand the longest. Buccellati said it seemed uncommon to have been born able to use one, but it's always been normal to me.

He wasn't wrong.

[Come on Kakyoin, you can do it, you can muster up some self esteem if you try.]

Oh yeah? [She's not watching Kakyoin anymore, turning Hierophant's hand over in hers and thumbing across his palm.] I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He's a little like water, you know? And not just in this whole not-so-formed thing he's got going on. G.E. and Pistols are precise in their own way, but Hierophant flows.

[well if you keep talking about his favorite subject like that it'll be easy]

It's funny you mention that; our signature ability partially uses water. [Shrugging, Kakyoin looked out of the corner of his eye at his Stand with a faint smile.] Next to the others, my Hierophant almost seems average in comparison. But he's versatile, and I have a longer reach with him than anyone as far as I know.

No way. [None of the Stands would ever be average, no matter how...OP Gold Experience was. There were things Hierophant could do that the others' couldn't because that's the way they worked. They were all unique.]

...Besides, I bet he gives the best hugs.

Well, I can't say I'd know how to rank that kind of thing specifically.

[Hierophant's main body still holding Izabel's hand, a few thin silver-green coils appeared to wrap loosely around kakyoin's arms and shoulders like a scarf.]

...But yes, he does.

[She gives Hierophant's hand another squeeze before looking up to watch Kakyoin again, smile softening. Even though calling him cute had been something to tease him, that didn't mean it wasn't true.]

...So. You said something about a signature ability? Was that what you meant by "what he can really do"?

[lapidarius]

Part of it, yeah. There's a lot my Hierophant can do if we make enough of an effort; he can scout out a wide area and lay traps or tripwires. But I'm sure there must be other long-range Stands in the world that can do things like that, but there's one thing I know only Hierophant can do.

[look at this smug bastard]

Do you want us to show you?

[She enjoys dumb boys being smug about Stands.]

You really have to ask?

No, but I thought it would be polite to at least give you a warning.

[Hierophant lightly untangled his hand from Izabel's and pulled back, Kakyoin looking around before settling on a tree a distance away. He'd need some kind of target, after all.]

[His Stand brought its hands a few inches apart, pale green water starting to rush between them like a miniaturized flood. Both Hierophant and the space between his hands started to glow brightly as a dozen small sparkles began to crystallize into perfectly cut emeralds.]

Emerald Splash!

[The gemstones were launched forward like the world's most expensive shotgun blast, sticking themselves dead center in his target with a faint mist lingering in the air for a few seconds in the aftermath.]

[While eager to see what Kakyoin had up his sleeve, Izabel was more than a little reluctant to let go of the Stand. Goodbye, sense of feel.

But that's what makes the attack all the better. She's stunned while the mist dissipates, but when the way is clear she shoots forward to inspect the embedded emeralds.] Shit, dude! That is some serious firepower. [Also pretty and classy.]

I've never seen anything like that before...
