[Seriously, though, that's a hell of a compliment, especially from Kakyoin. Polnareff stares at the watch for a moment, smiling-- and god, but he's missed him. He's missed this, their stupid back-and-forth, the teasing and the threats and the genuine affection beneath it all. He's missed Kakyoin, and yeah, it's only been a few days-- but at home, those days were going to stretch out into eternity. He'd never thought he'd get this back, and it's just--]

[Obnoxious as he could get, it was a definite relief to have Polnareff back. The way things had been going in the past few months, all of them needed someone with the unique talent of breaking things up when they got a little too serious.]
