[Not normally, anyway. But all right: here comes Chariot, appearing from nowhere to stand before Kakyoin. For a moment he regards him silently-- and then, with some silent prompting from Polnareff:]

[There's a reason Polnareff had ordered him to stop that, and it's because Chariot uses the most ridiculously high-pitched voice known to man. It's sweet and cute and utterly inappropriate for a grown man.]

[STANDS? STANDS. STAAAAAANDS.]

[Hierophant appeared behind him, hands over his mask in a silent gasp of amazement as Kakyoin tried very, very hard to keep his expression as level as possible.]

...that's adorable.

Yeah, when I was twelve.

[But he can't possibly be upset with Chariot-- who floats closer, peering at Hierophant's silent gasp. Both stand and user will be able to hear muttered little pamis.]

And then my voice dropped and his didn't, so. No more pami.

That's so mean, just because he's not intimidating enough. [he is so mockingly offended on chariot's behalf right now] Poor Chariot, I'm sure he's just doing his best.

Yeah, well, his best is best when silent.

[Pamiiii, Chariot agrees, and it's somehow sad and beseeching. His noises are so unappreciated, Kakyoin. Love him.]

Hierophant really doesn't say anything?

[Kakyoin shook his head, reaching out for Chariot's hand in half-serious support.]

He never has. There's a mouth under his mask, but I've never heard him make a sound.

Huh. Has Giorno pushed pudding on him?

[With a familiar kind of enthusiasm Chariot takes his hand-- because of course he's not particularly hurt, because Polnareff isn't, and he's mostly just happy to be here. PAMI, he says brightly, and scoots up close.]

Not really. I mean--I don't think the mask can actually come off. It was broken once, but that's about it.

[silvercrusader]

Was it-- I mean, did it hurt, or was it like breaking a nail?

[lapidarius]

It hurt like getting punched in the mouth, which was basically what happened. I didn't really stop to consider if that was because of the mask breaking or because of just getting hit.

Well, if it ever happens again, have some pudding handy. Maybe he's just waiting to speak when he's prompted.

I'm not going to plan for his mask getting broken open.

[silvercrusader]

[What kind of noise would Hierophant even make? Probably something bitchy, he thinks fondly.]
